Our 16-mile Scenic & Whitewater Rafting Overnight Combo is a great choice if you like camping and want to do it in style! This trip combines a scenic float, a whitewater rafting trip, dinner, breakfast and an overnight stay in our creekside tent cabins. Begin in the late afternoon with a calm 8-mile scenic float trip along the Snake River. Arrive at our exclusive Pine Creek campsite with several hours of daylight left to get settled into your cabin, take a short hike or read a book by the creek. While you relax, our cook prepares a mouth-watering grilled rib-eye steak dinner for you in perfect Jackson Hole style. The evening continues around the campfire with everyone’s favorite S’mores!
A sizzling hot breakfast is ready for you when you rise the next morning. Following breakfast, plunge into 8 miles of pure Jackson Hole whitewater rafting!

What’s camp like?
We have six private tent cabins with hardwood floors and wood frame beds. They are spread out along Pine Creek and offer solitude while at camp on your Jackson Hole rafting adventure. One cabin comfortably sleeps up to four people. You share a cabin(s) only with the people you are traveling with. Sleeping bags with liners and pillows with cases are provided. We have two clean portable toilets and running water to wash your hands and face with the wash cloths and hand towels provided. For dinner and breakfast, you have the option of eating by the campfire or at tables in our covered pavilion area.
What’s for dinner and breakfast?
Dinner: Feast on a delicious grilled rib-eye steak coupled with calico baked beans, corn on the cob, fresh green salad, cornbread and peach cobbler for dessert. Vegetarian option are available upon advance request. Lemonade, hot cocoa, hot tea and water will help wash it all down.
Breakfast: Enjoy our famous wild rice pancakes, sizzling maple sausage, scrambled eggs and fresh fruit. Cowboy coffee, hot cocoa, hot tea and orange juice round out your delicious Jackson Hole trip meal.
Minimum age for the river trip?
Our minimum age for children to go on the Jackson Hole Whitewater Rafting Overnight Combo on the Snake River is 6 years old (approximately 45 pounds) for most of the summer season. However, high water levels during the early season may increase the minimum age up to 8 – 10 years old and require a more careful screening of all young participants. Safety is always our first priority.
What should you wear on your overnight rafting trip?

For the scenic float in the afternoon, bring an extra layer for warmth is can get chilly rafting Jackson Hole. We provide complimentary splash jackets and pants for the entire combo trip. Cameras and binoculars are welcome and generally not at risk.
For the whitewater rafting stretch the following morning, wear a swimsuit or clothes that you don’t mind getting wet. Cotton is not recommended; synthetic fabrics such as nylon and polypropylene work the best because they dry quickly. For cool days in Jackson, we have neoprene wetsuits, booties and fleece. You may rent these items when you check in for your white water rafting trip the day before. Shoes that are secure on your feet are required (no flip-flops).
Bring a towel and/or dry clothing to change into at the end of your Jackson Hole whitewater rafting trip, so you’re comfortable on the 40-minute return ride back to Jackson. There are Forest Service changing rooms for you to use at the landing. Sunglasses, hats and sunscreen are a good idea; cameras and binoculars are not recommended for the whitewater rafting portion of the trip.

Where is the scenic float and whitewater rafting in Jackson Hole?
The scenic float begins 18 miles south of Jackson and meanders along the Snake River through beautiful mountain vistas in the upper Snake River Canyon. There are excellent bird viewing opportunities in Jackson Hole – eagles, osprey, blue heron, pelicans – while floating south toward the rapids. Our exclusive riverside camp and breakfast spot borders Pine Creek and sits just uphill from the river. It is accessed by boat only, offering tranquility and privacy for your Jackson Hole activity. The whitewater section is in the Grand Canyon of the Snake River, which is considered the deepest gorge on the Snake in Wyoming. It is the Snake’s only whitewater rafting section in the surrounding Jackson Hole area. Rafting through the picturesque Snake River Canyon in Jackson Hole offers a unique perspective of the valley and exciting rapids round every turn.
