Our Teton Views scenic floats offer a serene river experience with special access to the Snake River that no other river trip outfitter in Jackson has. The floats begin outside the southern boundary of Grand Teton National Park at the historic Snake River Ranch. Enjoy panoramic views of the Teton Range, Gros Ventre Range and Snake River Range. Our boatmen do all the work on this rafting trip, so you can relax and take it all in!

7-mile Teton Views Float with Picnic Lunch

Do you want to make time for another Jackson Hole activity on the same day or have a family with little kids? Try our late morning lunch float along the Snake River that begins at the Wilson boat launch (west of Jackson) and floats downstream to our private riverside camp for a gourmet picnic lunch. Lunch includes turkey & cheese on locally-baked bread from the Mexican bakery The Bread Basket (with avocado, tomatoes, banana peppers and more), Thai broccoli salad with peanut sauce, seasonal fruit salad, chips and home-baked cookies. Lemonade and water. Picnic tables and a restroom provided.

How about a Dutch oven dinner cookout? Take in a late afternoon scenic float along the Snake from our private Snake River Ranch launch site to our private dinner cookout site. Feast on our famous Dutch oven BBQ tri-tip with calico baked beans, freshly tossed salad with homemade dressing, hot French bread and strawberry shortcake dessert, a classic Jackson Hole western cookout. Lemonade and water. Picnic tables and a restroom provided.

Minimum age for our Teton Views Float Trips?
Our minimum age for children on scenic float trips is 4 years old (approximately 40 pounds) for most of the summer season. However, high water levels during the early season may increase the minimum age up to 6 years old and require a more careful screening of all young participants. Safety is always our first priority on all of our Jackson Hole river trips.
What should you wear on the float trip?
Bring an extra layer of warmth for morning, lunch and dinner trips, as Jackson Hole river trips can be cooler at times. Wear shoes that are soft-soled and comfortable. Sunglasses, hats and sunscreen are a good idea. Cameras and binoculars are welcome and generally not at risk. We also carry binoculars on the raft, along with rain gear just in case.
